Stuart Southern

Stuart Southern is an experienced professional in the field of cybersecurity and technology architecture, currently serving as the Head of Cyber Security at Smurfit Westrock since January 2024. As a Security & Performance Architect at Vll Limited since September 2019, Stuart specializes in security and performance testing for applications built on Microsoft technology, with a focus on Azure implementations. In addition to these roles, Stuart has been a Lead Architect at Smurfit Kappa since September 2018 and at Carpenters Limited since January 2018, where responsibilities include launching new digital initiatives and delivering significant digital change programs. Stuart is also the Founder of VLL, established in March 2012, which provides business technology services to help small companies compete with larger organizations. Prior to these positions, Stuart held managerial and development roles at Avanade and Unilever.
