Deputy Director Of Operations at SMX

Jaime Ibarra has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Jaime is currently serving as a Senior Program Manager at Brandes Associates, Inc. Prior to this, they worked at Smartronix as a Deputy Director of Operations and Program Manager. In these roles, they were responsible for managing teams, recruiting and mentoring staff, and leading various projects in engineering, software development, and research and development.

Before joining Smartronix, Jaime served as an Operational Test Director at Operational Test and Evaluation Squadron NINE, where they oversaw the operational evaluation of aircraft systems for the USMC. Additionally, they held positions at HMLA-369, where they served as the Director of Standardization and Safety and Assistant Operations Officer, managing safety programs and training and deployment of personnel for combat operations.

Earlier in their career, Jaime worked at HMLA/T-303 as the UH-1N NATOPS Program Manager, responsible for flight certification programs and training of flight instructors. Jaime also served as a UH-1N Pilot and Weapons and Tactics Instructor at HMLA-369.

Throughout their career, Jaime has demonstrated strong leadership skills, effective project management, and a dedication to operational excellence.

Jaime Ibarra obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Control Systems Engineering from the United States Naval Academy in 1996. In 2012, they earned a Master of Science degree in Business, specializing in Supply Chain Management, from The University of Kansas. In the same year, they also attended the US Army Command and General Staff College for studies in Military and Strategic Leadership Studies.
