Amanda J Brady

Amanda J Brady has a diverse work experience in various fields. Amanda J is currently employed as a Forensic Scientist I - Evidence Custodian at SNA International in the Current Day Operations Section of AFDIL. Prior to this role, they worked as a Forensic Professional I at the same company.

In the academic sector, Amanda served as an Adjunct Lecturer at both Caldwell University and Brooklyn College from 2020 to 2022.

Amanda J also gained valuable experience as an intern at the NYC Office of Chief Medical Examiner, where they worked in the Forensic Anthropology department in 2020. Additionally, they interned at the New Jersey State Police Office of Forensic Sciences in the Forensic Anthropology Unit in 2019, assisting with bone cleaning, missing persons work, and creating biological profiles.

Amanda further expanded their knowledge and skills through an internship at New York University's Molecular Anthropology Lab in 2019, where they focused on DNA collection, extraction, amplification, and analysis for forensic purposes.

In 2019, Amanda participated in the America Reads*America Counts Federal initiative as a Tutor, working with elementary and middle school students to improve their reading, writing, math, and science skills.

Before their transition into the forensic field, Amanda worked as an Observer and Time Tracker at RK&A in 2018. Prior to that, they were a Customer Service Representative at VWR, part of Avantor, from 2017 to 2018. Amanda J also gained experience as a Stylist and Part-Time Assistant Manager at Dressbarn from 2015 to 2017.

Amanda J Brady completed their education with a Master's degree in Physical Anthropology, specializing in the Human Skeletal Biology Track, from New York University. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Anthropology from William Paterson University of New Jersey. Amanda J completed their high school education at Gloucester County Institute of Technology, where they studied Business Administration and Management, General.
