David Gedris

David Gedris has extensive experience in financial planning and analysis (FP&A). David currently holds the position of Vice President, FP&A at Snap Finance, starting in 2023. Before that, they had a long tenure at Ancestry, starting as a Sr. Financial Analyst in 2008 and progressing through various roles, including Manager, Sr. Manager, Director, and finally Sr. Director, FP&A. At Ancestry, they were responsible for conducting comprehensive financial analyses and reporting, building and managing cross-functional teams, and developing complex forecasts and financial models. Prior to Ancestry, David worked at CSK Auto as a Sr. Manager, Market Research and Sr. Financial Analyst, Planning & Analysis from 2003 to 2005.

David Gedris obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Public Relations with a minor in Business Management from Brigham Young University, which they attended from 1994 to 2000. David also completed a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a focus on Finance from Brigham Young University, attending from 2001 to 2003. In addition, they obtained a certification as a Certified Corporate Financial Planning & Analysis Professional from the Association for Financial Professionals in 2015.
