Doris M. Hektor Evp

Doris M. Hektor is the EVP, Chief Compliance and Risk Officer at Snap Finance since February 2022. In this role, they are responsible for building a world-class Compliance and Risk Organization and enhancing all aspects of a CMS and ERM framework. Doris has also held the positions of SVP, Chief Risk and Compliance Officer at Snap Finance from September 2020 to February 2022 and Global Chief Risk Officer at Encore Capital Group from April 2019 to September 2020. Prior to that, they served as Chief Compliance Officer at Encore Capital Group from November 2014 to April 2019. Doris has extensive experience in the financial industry, including roles at JP Morgan Chase as Senior Vice President/Managing Director Compliance from December 2010 to November 2014, American Express as Vice President Global Commercial Card, and General Counsel/Member of AESEL Board from May 2003 to December 2010, and AXA Investment Managers as Managing Director, Head of Legal, Compliance, Risk Management & Internal Audit from September 2000 to April 2003. Doris M. Hektor also worked at JP Morgan Investment Managers and Kiethe Rechtsanwaelte as Head of Risk Management, Legal & Compliance and Attorney At Law respectively. Doris began their career as a Senior Attorney at Clifford Chance.

Doris M. Hektor, EVP, Chief Compliance and Risk Officer, holds a PhD in Law from the Universitaet des Saarlandes, which they obtained from 1991 to 1994. Doris M. Hektor also holds a 1. juristisches Staatsexamen "Juris Doctor" in Law from the Staatsministerium Saarbruecken, which they earned from 1983 to 1989. Additionally, they achieved a 2. juristisches Staatsexamen "Bar Examination" in Law from the same institution from 1989 to 1992. Doris M. Hektor has also completed the Second State Examination in Law, Admission to the German Bar, and the First State Examination in Law (J.D.), both from the Ministry of Justice, Saarbruecken.
