Heather Utlaut

Heather Utlaut is an accomplished legal professional with extensive experience in commercial, cybersecurity, and data protection law. Currently serving as Lead Counsel at Snap-on since June 2015, Heather oversees the legal management for the company’s Commercial and Industrial division, negotiates significant national contracts, and identifies legal risks while implementing mitigation strategies. Prior to Snap-on, Heather was an attorney at Wilson Elser from January 2013 to June 2015, where responsibilities included analyzing contracts and co-chairing the Risk Management sub-team. Heather began her legal career as an associate at Leib & Katt LLC (now Wilson Elser Moskowitz Edelman & Dicker LLP) in Milwaukee from January 2008 to January 2013. Heather holds a Doctor of Law (J.D.) degree from Marquette University Law School, achieved through an accelerated program, and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater, graduating Magna Cum Laude.
