Dave Mayo

Dave Mayo is a seasoned technology professional with extensive experience in embedded software development and product architecture. Currently serving as Sr. Director of Joint Product Development at Snap One since August 2017, Dave shapes the technical vision for a diverse range of products in the Audio, Video, and Automation sector. Previous roles include Engineering Manager at NCR, where oversight of a software engineering team focused on Point of Sale systems was highlighted, and Platform Software Engineer III, where embedded software development for POS terminals was emphasized. Earlier positions at Motorola and Alcorn McBride involved developing software for cable set-top boxes and audio/video playback equipment, respectively. Dave holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from The University of Georgia and studied at Auburn University prior to that.
