Özlem Can

Özlem Can is a seasoned legal professional with extensive experience in law enforcement and policy development. Currently serving as a Senior Law Enforcement Specialist at Snap Inc. since September 2019, Özlem reviews legal requests from various law enforcement agencies and designs new policies. Previously, Özlem worked at Twitter as a Specialist in Legal Policy, where responsibilities included authoring legal policies and managing large-scale project implementations. Prior experience as a Community Operations Specialist at Meta involved managing operational support for user appeals and compliance issues. Özlem began a career in fundraising with Greenpeace. Educational qualifications include a Master of Laws (LL.M.) in International Law from the University of Galway and a Bachelor's degree in Sociology from Mimar Sinan University of Fine Arts.
