Sergey Tulyakov

Sergey Tulyakov is an experienced researcher currently serving as the Director of Research at Snap Inc. since July 2017, where previous roles included Principal Research Scientist and Lead Research Scientist. Prior to Snap Inc., Sergey gained experience as a Research Intern at NVIDIA and Microsoft, and conducted doctoral studies as a PhD student at the University of Trento from November 2012 to April 2017. Sergey also held positions as a Visiting Scholar at Carnegie Mellon University and has worked in various capacities at HiQo Solutions Ltd, Becomp Ltd, and Todes Ltd, focusing on software engineering and project leadership. Sergey holds a PhD in Computer Science from the Università di Trento and a Master's degree from the Belarusian State University of Informatics and Radioelectronics.
