Chuma Ukeagu has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Chuma started their career as a Customer Support Engineer at Infoweb Limited in 1999, where they provided technical guidance to customers and designed internet-based solutions. Chuma then moved on to Diamond Bank Plc in 2003, where they served as a Team Lead, managing system administration and achieving cost reductions through effective implementation of enterprise desktop management. In 2005, they joined UBA as the Head of Systems Engineering, handling business technology strategy, vendor relationship management, and strategic project coordination. Ukeagu then joined Microsoft in 2007, working as a Senior Technology Strategist, providing technical guidance to customers in the telecommunications and oil/gas sectors. Chuma later took on various roles at Microsoft, including Business Manager in the oil and gas sector and became a Senior Sales Manager in the public sector, where they achieved significant revenue growth and developed strong customer relationships. Finally, in 2015, Ukeagu joined Snapnet Nigeria as the CEO and Principal Consultant.

Chuma Ukeagu has a diverse education history. In 1997, they obtained a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Computer Science and Engineering from Enugu State University of Science and Technology. In 2013, they completed a Post Graduate Certificate in Business Administration and Management from the University of Leicester. Chuma furthered their education in 2016 by obtaining a Master of Business Administration degree in Innovation & Entrepreneurship from China Europe International Business School (CEIBS). In addition to their formal degrees, they have obtained various certifications, including Project Management Professional from the Project Management Institute in 2009, Certified Ethical Hacker from EC-Council in 2006, and Microsoft Certified Professional from Microsoft in 2002.
