Tommy Pitchford

Tommy Pitchford is an experienced IT professional with a strong background in technical analysis and network management. Currently serving as Technical Analyst Lead at Snapping Shoals Electric Membership Corporation since March 2012, Tommy maintains and supports a range of systems including Microsoft Windows and Unix/Linux servers, VMware vSphere, and network security measures. Prior to this role, Tommy was the Deputy Director and Network Administrator for Rockdale County from October 2006 to March 2012, managing a complex network of over 700 computers, 40 servers, and numerous network devices. Tommy also held the position of IT Manager at Peach State Freightliner, where responsibilities included establishing an in-house IT department, and was a Network Administrator at Atlanta Freightliner, supporting a variety of operating systems. Tommy holds a Bachelor of Arts in Computer Science from Southern New Hampshire University and has further education from Georgia Piedmont Technical College.
