Deena Tenzer

Deena Tenzer has a diverse work experience. From 2019 to the present, they have worked at Snapsheet Inc, starting as a Software Engineer and progressing to a Senior Software Engineer and eventually a Lead Software Engineer. In these roles, they have been responsible for improving system reliability, automating deployment pipelines, and mentoring new team members.

In addition to their work at Snapsheet Inc, Deena Tenzer has also served as a Board Member for the Illinois Technology Association (ITA) since 2019, specifically on the Women Influence Chicago's Junior Board. This board focuses on cultivating women leaders and increasing female leadership in tech companies.

Prior to their current roles, Deena Tenzer worked at AT&T as a Software Engineer from 2016 to 2019. Here, they developed a micro service for AT&T's Security Solutions platform and utilized Angular 4 and .NET Framework.

Deena also has work experience at Liberty Mutual Insurance, where they worked as a Software Engineer in 2015, contributing to a data ingestion project using Java and SQL. Before that, they interned as a Project Manager in the Liberty International Information System department in 2014, where they created an interactive Microsoft Access database for disaster recovery events and tests.

Deena Tenzer's earliest work experience was at Camp Ramah in Wisconsin in 2012 and 2013, where they served as a Cabin Counselor and Educational Programmer. Their responsibilities included developing and executing educational programs for campers, providing leadership to cabin staff, and ensuring the safety and well-being of campers.

Deena Tenzer obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics and Computer Science from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2016. In 2017, they completed an iOS Nanodegree program from Udacity. In 2018, they pursued a Fullstack Nanodegree from Udacity. Deena also holds various certifications in fields such as CSS, Angular, Big Data, HTML, Hadoop, JavaScript, and Selenium from different institutions including LinkedIn and Coursera. In March 2018, Deena obtained the SAFe® 4 Certified Practitioner certification from Scaled Agile, Inc.
