Nicolas Gindt

A graduate of École Centrale de Lille, Nicolas Gindt joined SNCF in late 1992. He has held a variety of positions, working in passenger and freight traffic, sales, and human resources, and in management for the Normandy, Brittany and Champagne-Ardenne regions. From 2002 to 2005, he served as labour relations adviser for SNCF head office.

In 2009, he moved into logistics, first working in rail freight, leading VFLI for five years, then Geodis Road Transport in the Paris region. In late 2015, he moved to Australia and became CEO of Keolis-Downer Victoria, Melbourne's tram network operator.

On his return to France in 2020, Mr Gindt served as acting Chief Commercial Officer at Keolis’ International Division. On 1 October 2020, he was appointed Head of Strategy at Rail Logistics Europe. On 1 February 2021, he also became CEO of Forwardis Holding.
