Aleksi Kukkonen

Aleksi Kukkonen has a diverse work experience. Aleksi started their career as a HRIS Trainee at Huhtamaki, where they focused on testing system functionality configuration for employment processes. Aleksi also supported testing other tools and gave short demos in training for end-users.

Afterwards, Aleksi worked as a Research Assistant at the Hospital District of Helsinki and Uusimaa (HUS) where they gained valuable research experience.

In 2019, Aleksi joined Sniffie - The Pricing Automation Company, initially as a Growth Hacker / Data Scientist. During this time, they utilized Python, R, and SQL to design and implement ML/AI solutions for pricing automation. Aleksi'smain focus was on developing reinforcement learning-based pricing algorithms. In 2020, they were promoted to the role of Head of Data, leading a team responsible for these solutions.

Aleksi Kukkonen pursued their education at the University of Helsinki from 2014 to 2021, where they obtained a Master's degree in Psychology. In addition to their academic achievements, they also earned several certifications through Coursera. Specifically, in September and October 2018, Aleksi completed courses such as "Using Python to Access Web Data," "Python Data Structures," "Machine Learning," and "Programming for Everybody (Getting Started with Python)."
