Szabolcs Semsey

Szabolcs Semsey is a Team Lead at SNIPR Biome. Szabolcs was previously an Associate Professor at the Department of Biology at the University of Copenhagen from November 2015 to April 2018. There, they focused on studying bacterial stress responses with special focus on cell-to-cell heterogeneity. Szabolcs Semsey has also been a Quality Assessor (contract) at OGYÉI - National Institute of Pharmacy and Nutrition (Hungary) from February 2008 to December 2014, where they assessed the quality section of >40 clinical trial applications, mostly therapeutic antibodies, original products, and biosimilars. Szabolcs was a Staff Scientist at Agricultural Biotechnology Center, Gödöllő, Hungary in May 2000 and September 2000. Additionally, Szabolcs Semsey was an Associate Professor at Niels Bohr Institute, University of Copenhagen from September 2010 to October 2015 and an Assistant Professor at Eötvös Loránd University from September 2006 to August 2009. Lastly, they were a Visiting Fellow at National Cancer Institute from October 2000 to November 2005.

Szabolcs Semsey has a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Biology from Szent István Egyetem, a Master of Science (MSc) in Biotechnology from Gödöllő Agricultural University, and a degree in Mathematics from Földes Ferenc Gimnázium.
