Emily Yan is an experienced architect currently serving as the Director of Studio Hong Kong at Snøhetta since August 2018. Emily has held positions in various prestigious firms, including UNStudio as an Architect, and previously as a Junior Architectural Designer, and at Aedas as a Part II Architectural Assistant. Initial experience was gained at the Laboratory for Explorative Architecture & Design Ltd. as an Architectural Intern, and at the Oval Partnership Ltd. as a Part I Architectural Assistant. Earlier in the career, Emily interned at RMJM and JPMorgan Chase in the architectural and HR fields, respectively. Emily obtained a Master of Architecture (MArch) and a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Architecture from UCL.
