Alenka Fields CSM, LSSGB, is a Continuous Improvement Specialist at Snohomish County, WA, since May 2022, with extensive experience in Lean transformations and process improvement methodologies. As an Executive Consultant at Simpler Consulting, an IBM Company, since June 2015, Alenka utilizes Simpler Business System® tools to guide organizations in Lean transformations, coach leadership, and track return on investment. Previously, Alenka served as an Executive Lean Consultant at John Black and Associates, LLC, where training and coaching in Lean system transformations were provided for manufacturing and healthcare organizations. As a Lean Leader at Providence Health and Services, Alenka implemented Lean improvements and coached staff to enhance service quality and safety, and in an earlier role as VMPS Specialist in the Kaizen Promotion Office at Virginia Mason Medical Center, focused on planning and implementing Kaizen improvements in ambulatory care. Alenka holds an Associate of Science in Radiologic Technology from Bellevue College and a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Theatre from Cornish College of the Arts.
