Annie Cole

Annie Cole has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning over multiple industries and roles. Annie began their career as an Associate Vice Chancellor in Human Resources at the Los Angeles Community College District in 2000, where they served until 2004. Annie then moved on to the Los Angeles City College as an Assistant Professor from 2004 to 2010. Annie then transitioned to the Bellevue School District, where they worked as an Assistant General Counsel from 2010 to 2014, and later as a General Counsel from 2014 to 2016. Since 2016, they have been employed at Snohomish County, WA, initially serving as the Human Resources Director until 2020. Annie's most recent role in the company is the Chief Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Officer & HR Policy Advisor, a position they have held since 2022.

Annie Cole holds a Doctor of Law (JD) degree from Gonzaga University School of Law. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Political Science and Government at Eastern Washington University. In terms of certifications, Annie obtained the "Textio Equitable Performance Feedback" certification from Textio in 2023, and the "Sheryl Sandberg and Adam Grant on Option B: Building Resilience" certification from LinkedIn in 2020.
