Dan Poxton

Dan Poxton has worked in the software engineering industry since 2000. Dan began their career at Kofax as an Engineering Team Leader in Cambridge, where they designed and developed real-time camera-based industrial inspection systems. Dan then moved to Prism Sound as a Senior R&D Software Engineer, developing next generation of high-end audio test and measurement devices. After that, they joined Tribal Group as a Software Engineer, working on management systems for the education sector. Dan then moved to Proteo as a Senior Software Engineer Architect, developing innovative web and mobile apps for haulage and other industries. After that, they joined Geologix Limited as a Software Delivery Manager, project lead for WellXP, an enterprise, cloud-based real-time monitoring and document management system for the drilling industry. Dan then moved to SessionCam as a Solutions Architect and Senior Software Engineer, developing and maintaining web-scale cloud computing architectures to support session replay and analytics for global e-commerce brands. Most recently, they joined Compleat Software as a Software Developer, and is currently a Senior Platform Engineer at Snoop.

Dan Poxton received a BSc, MSc and Post graduate research in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence/Image Analysis and Medical Biophysics from The University of Manchester between 1992 and 2000. In 2017, they obtained an AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate certification from Amazon Web Services. In 2019, they obtained an AWS Certified Developer - Associate certification from Amazon Web Services (AWS).
