Barbi Donovan, CPCS, CPMSM, PESC has over 20 years of experience in medical staff services and credentialing. Barbi currently serves as the Director of Medical Staff Services at Snoqualmie Valley Hospital since December 2005. Additionally, Barbi has held various leadership roles in the Washington Association of Medical Staff Services (WAMSS), including serving as the Past President, President, President Elect, and Conference Chair. Barbi has also worked as a Credentialing/Contracting Coordinator at Mary Bridge Children's Health Alliance, a Credentialing Specialist at Community Health Plan of Washington, and a Health Plan Credentialing Coordinator at St. Mary's Regional Medical Center. Throughout their career, Barbi has demonstrated expertise in credentialing and privileging licensed independent practitioners and has been involved in professional organizations such as NAMSS and WAMSS.
Barbi Donovan, CPCS, CPMSM, PESC has a Bachelor of Science degree in Healthcare Management from Western Governors University, which was obtained from 2017 to 2018. Additionally, they hold an AA degree in General Studies from Truckee Meadows Community College, completed from 1988 to 1994. In terms of certifications, Barbi Donovan is a Certified Professional Credentialing Specialist (CPCS), obtained in June 2000 from the National Association of Medical Staff Services. Barbi is also a Certified Professional Medical Services Management (CPMSM), obtained in November 2004 from the same institution.
