Pia Lorenz

Pia Lorenz has over a decade of experience in technology-based roles that involve working as a Front-End Architect, Lead Front-End Developer, Full Stack Designer, and Creative Engineer. Their current role as the Chief Technology Officer at Merkaba Technology involves designing and developing innovative solutions, managing internal and external fulfillment operations, and providing guidance on technically-driven business solutions to drive company growth and success. Prior to their current position, Pia has worked in startups such as Snorble and Legacysecure Inc. as a Creative Director & Engineer and a Creative Engineer & Utility Contractor, respectively. Pia also worked at IBM, where they contributed to the development of digital analytics platforms and governed the adoption and contribution of component libraries. They also worked as a Full Stack Engineer and Co-founder at Regattable Inc., where they developed and redesigned web apps using Ruby on Rails, WordPress CMS, PHP, and HAML. Pia's early roles were at Syracuse University, MOST - Milton J. Rubenstein Museum of Science & Technology, and CMPL Design & Development, where they worked on developing custom WordPress themes, executing web projects, and maintaining websites.
