Alyssa Maruyama has significant work experience starting from 2012. Alyssa began their career as a Planetarium Intern at the California Academy of Sciences in 2012. From 2012 to 2015, they also worked as a Planetarium Presenter and a Research Assistant at the University of Michigan Computer Science Department. In 2014, they served as an Undergraduate Student Instructor at the same department.
In 2015, Alyssa joined FAAC Incorporated as an Associate Engineer and worked there until 2017. Following that, they worked as a Front End Developer at the University of California, Berkeley from 2017 to 2018. Alyssa then transitioned to Narvar, where they served as a Front End Engineer from 2018 to 2020.
Currently, Alyssa holds the position of Software Engineer at Snorkel AI, starting in September 2020.
Alyssa Maruyama pursued their education at the University of Michigan from 2011 to 2015. Alyssa obtained a Bachelor of Science degree with a major in Computational Physics. Additionally, they completed minors in Computer Science and Astrophysics during their undergraduate studies. Following this, Alyssa began their Master of Engineering in Engineering Management at Duke University, which they are expected to complete between 2022 and 2024.
