Pranav Vaid

Pranav Vaid is a founding engineer at Snorkel AI, leading the Data as a Service initiative since August 2024, where responsibilities include designing and scaling the core platform. Prior to this role, Pranav served as a Research Assistant at Stanford University from October 2021 to June 2024, contributing to the Hazy Research Lab and the Stanford Medical AI and ComputeR Vision Lab, with significant research in diffusion model inference and semi-supervised techniques for surgical understanding, resulting in a first-author paper presented at MLHC 2023. Other experience includes internships at Lightmatter, AI2 Incubator, DataChat Inc., and a previous internship at Snorkel AI, alongside a research assistant position at the University of Washington focused on biological computing. Pranav holds a Master’s degree in Computer Science (AI Track) and a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science (Systems Track) from Stanford University.
