Kyle Cartmell

Kyle Cartmell has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and companies. Kyle is currently working as the Head of Engineering at SnoutID since March 2022. Prior to this, they were a Freelance Software Engineer at Special Chicken Labs since July 2013. Kyle also served as a Staff Software Engineer at Screencastify from October 2021 to March 2022. Kyle was the Chief Technology Officer at Alternate 36 from January 2021 to May 2021. Kyle held leadership positions at Building Engines, Inc., serving as the Vice President of Engineering from December 2019 to January 2021, and as the Senior Director of Product from November 2019 to December 2019. Kyle has also held the role of Chief Technology Officer at Synlio from November 2015 to November 2019. Additionally, they worked as a Programmer Analyst III at Choice Hotels International from January 2015 to October 2015, and as a Site Support Engineer/Developer at PetSmart from June 2013 to January 2015. Kyle also worked as a Senior Software Engineer at meltmedia from March 2011 to June 2013, and as a Release Engineer at CWIE from September 2009 to March 2011.

Kyle Cartmell attended Pima Community College from 1999 to 2000, where they studied Computer Science. Following this, they enrolled at Arizona State University from 2002 to 2003, also studying Computer Science. Kyle did not obtain a degree from either institution.
