Michael Kennedy

Michael Kennedy is an accomplished leader in competitive snow sports, serving as the Chief Executive Officer of Snow Australia since 2002, where a significant transformation was managed to elevate the organization to Tier 1 Foundation Sport status. In addition to this role, Kennedy has held prominent positions within the International Ski Federation, including Chairman of the FIS Freestyle Committee and expert roles in various committees. With extensive experience as an expert commentator for major Winter Olympic broadcasts, Kennedy has also contributed to developing elite performances in winter sports as the High Performance Program Manager at the Olympic Winter Institute of Australia. As the founder and director of Australian Winter Sports Camps, Kennedy laid the groundwork for overseas training experiences for athletes. Educational credentials include completing the Company Directors Course at the Australian Institute of Company Directors and a Performance Leaders Program at Melbourne Business School.
