Robert Davies

Robert Davies has a diverse work experience in various fields. Robert started their career in 1998 as a Post-doc at Victoria University of Wellington, where they worked on the SIGHT program and later developed the first seamless DEM of NZ. In 2005, they became a Post-Doc in Remote Sensing at Swansea University, conducting studies on the geomorphology of Nullarbor Karst and erosion modeling in the Himalayas. In 1999, they founded Snow-Forecast.com, the largest ski-related website, and in 2007, they became a Director at Meteo365.com Ltd., overseeing weather-forecast.com, surf-forecast.com, and mountain-forecast.com. Overall, Robert Davies has a strong background in remote sensing, geophysics, and web development.

Robert Davies earned their Bachelor's Degree in Exploration Geophysics from Cardiff University / Prifysgol Caerdydd between 1987 and 1990. Robert then pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) at the University of Oxford from 1992 to 1996, specializing in GPS, Seismics, Geodesy, Morphometry, and Greece.
