Sanya Weathers

Sanya Weathers has over 20 years of work experience in community management, writing, and consulting. Sanya started their career in 1999 as a freelance writer, contributing to various print and online outlets. In 2007, they worked as a market analyst for GamerDNA, where they designed tools for a social network for gamers. Sanya also served as the Director of Community for Quick Hit, Inc. from 2009 to 2010 and ModSquad from 2011 to 2012. Sanya joined Undead Labs in 2012 as the Director of Community, a role they held until 2018. During this time, they also worked briefly as a writer and community specialist at Crazy Maple Studio, Inc. In 2018, Sanya became a Senior Community Manager at King, where they managed communities for mobile game titles. Currently, they hold the position of Senior Community Manager at Snowprint Studios AB since 2021. In addition to their community management work, Sanya offers consulting services as a community building consultant, providing strategic planning, troubleshooting, and training in social media branding.

Sanya Weathers attended Greensboro College from 1992 to 1996, where they obtained a B.A degree in Theater. Sanya then enrolled at Radford University in 1998 and completed their studies in 1999, specializing in Secondary English Education.
