Mahesh Vashishtha

Mahesh Vashishtha is a Software Engineer at Snowflake since October 2023, focusing on the development of Snowpark pandas, an open-source library allowing the execution of pandas code on Snowflake data. Previously, Mahesh served as the Founding Software Engineer at Ponder from October 2021 until its acquisition by Snowflake in the same month. From December 2017 to October 2021, Mahesh worked at Google as a Software Engineer, specializing in web search quality, performance, and Data Commons. Earlier experience includes a role as an Undergraduate Researcher at the University of California, Berkeley, where optimal control theory was studied under Professor Claire Tomlin, and an internship at Google Cloud in 2016, contributing to open-source tools for API client libraries. Mahesh holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the University of California, Berkeley, earned in 2017.
