Matthijs Verdam

Matthijs Verdam currently serves as GTM Enterprise at Snowflake since February 2022, focusing on financial services and telecommunications in the Benelux region. Matthijs has held various leadership roles in sales development, successfully scaling teams and driving new business pipeline goals, earning the Global Manager of the Quarter award in Q3. Prior to Snowflake, Matthijs co-founded walking room, creating the world’s largest treadmill to promote active work environments, and had a significant tenure at Hewlett Packard Enterprise, where numerous accolades were achieved, including the HPE EMEA Winners Club award in 2020. Matthijs also served as a member of the national and district councils for KNLTB, was active in the EAE Business School board, and excelled as team captain of the NCAA Division 1 tennis team at Georgia Southern University, receiving multiple academic and athletic honors. Educationally, Matthijs holds a Master of Science in Marketing and Sales from Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya and a Bachelor of Science in Hospitality Administration from Georgia Southern University.
