Riaan Tischendorf is a seasoned professional in the technology sector with extensive experience in solutions engineering and technical architecture. Currently serving as the Senior Solutions Engineering Lead at Snowflake since May 2019, Riaan leads the Solutions Engineering Team for Western Canada. Previously, Riaan held key roles at AppDynamics from March 2015 to April 2019, focusing on digital transformation and application performance mapping, and contributed to AppDynamics' integration into Cisco. Riaan's background also includes working as a Technical Architect for Alberta Blue Cross, where initiatives for database virtualization were championed, and roles at Telkom and African Legend Indigo, where expertise in application integration and Oracle software was developed. Riaan earned a BSc in Computer Science from the University of Pretoria between 2000 and 2003.
