Simon Coombes

Simon Coombes is a seasoned technology executive with extensive experience in AI/ML solution engineering and product development. Currently serving as Director of Solution Engineering - AI/ML at Snowflake, Simon manages teams focused on building machine learning and generative AI solutions using Snowflake's technology. Previous roles at Snowflake include directing Professional Services and serving as a Principal Solutions Architect, where Simon supported Fortune 100 clients in implementing data science solutions. As Chief Technology Officer and Co-Founder of Gooee, Simon oversaw technology strategy and R&D, managing a global team of engineers. Earlier experience includes Global Technology Director at Aurora Lighting and Senior Solution Architect at Blue Rock Systems Ltd. Additionally, Simon serves on the Tech Advisory Committee at Cohesion, advising on IoT strategy and system integration. Simon holds an educational background from the University of Brighton.
