Venkat Suru

Venkat Suru is a seasoned technology professional with extensive experience in data architecture and cloud solutions. Currently serving as Field CTO for Data Platform Architecture and Data Apps at Snowflake since January 2023, Venkat previously held key roles including Director of Technology Solutions at Tetrate, where responsibilities encompassed managing pre-sales and post-sales for the APJ region, specializing in application networking and service mesh technologies. Prior to Tetrate, Venkat was a Senior Sales Engineer at CloudHealth by VMware, focusing on multi-cloud service management and optimization. Venkat's career began in various technical roles, culminating in significant positions at Hitachi Vantara APAC and EMC, where expertise in solutions architecture, public safety solutions, and pre-sales support was demonstrated. Venkat holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Information Systems from the University of Portsmouth and a Diploma in Telecommunication, Electronics, and Communications from SJP Government Polytechnic.
