Sarah Flaherty, MD, FACEP, serves as the Chair of Emergency Medicine at UPMC McKeesport and is an Emergency Physician at UPMC since January 2019. In addition to this role, Sarah Flaherty holds multiple Medical Director positions with the Fire Department of North Versailles, White Oak Emergency Medical Service, and McKeesport Ambulance Rescue Service, all starting in May 2021, along with interim Medical Director roles at several services from March to July 2023. Additionally, Sarah Flaherty has been a Ski Patroller at Snowshoe Mountain Resort since September 2013. Educational credentials include an Emergency Medicine Residency from Harvard University, an MD from Marshall University Joan C. Edwards School of Medicine, and a BS in Biology from Duke University. Prior experience includes a managerial role at R1 RCM focused on Utilization Review from December 2018 to March 2020.
