Jonathan Carroll

Jonathan Carroll is a seasoned Senior Project Manager with extensive experience in water-related infrastructure projects, particularly in the Northern Territory. Since joining SMEC in May 2011, Jonathan has undertaken multiple roles, including Infrastructure Manager for SMEC Myanmar, where responsibilities encompassed business development, national operations, and technical delivery across water and transport sectors. A notable project includes serving as Deputy Team Leader for the South Tarawa Sanitation Improvement Sector Project, supervising significant infrastructure upgrades for a population of 40,000. Additionally, Jonathan is currently contributing as a Project Manager for Snowy Hydro Limited within the Snowy 2.0 team. An educational background includes a Master of Science in Structural Engineering from Heriot-Watt University and a Bachelor of Engineering in Civil Engineering from University College Dublin. Prior experience includes an engineering internship with Queensland Water Infrastructure, engaging with major dam construction projects in Australia.
