Anil Shrestha

Anil Shrestha is an experienced independent consultant specializing in value chain development and inclusive business strategies, currently serving in this role since February 2021. With a long tenure at SNV-Netherlands Development Organisation since July 2010, Anil has worked as a Value Chain Development/Inclusive Business Advisor, focusing on enhancing the capacity of various stakeholders in Non Timber Forest Products and Eucalyptus timber-based Agro Forestry Value Chains. Anil's expertise extends to roles as a REDD+ Advisor, supporting stakeholders in carbon management projects, and previous consultancy positions with NGOs and private sectors related to forest products. Anil's educational background includes a Master's in International Trade from Victoria University and a Bachelor's in Forestry from Kumaun University, along with a technical forestry certificate from the Institute of Forestry, Tribhuvan University.
