Subash Dhakal

Subash Dhakal has a diverse work experience spanning over 14 years. Subash is currently serving as a Renewable Energy Project Lead at SNV since January 2020. Prior to that, they worked as an Associate at Accor from April 2018 to December 2019. From October 2014 to March 2018, Subash was a Renewable Energy Project Leader at SNV Netherlands Development Organization Nepal. Subash also served as a Renewable Energy Advisor for the organization from September 2012 to September 2014. Before joining SNV, Subash worked as a Biomass Energy Engineer at Beautiful Nepal Association from November 2007 to August 2012. Subash started their career as an Engineer (Market and Business Development) at Pioneer Electrocables Private Limited from November 2006 to October 2007. Subash also gained valuable experience as an Apprentice Engineer at Chilime Hydropower Company Limited from August 2006 to October 2006.

Subash Dhakal completed an Executive Master of Business Administration (EMBA) degree at Kathmandu University School of Management from 2017 to 2019. Prior to that, in 2016, they attained a Proficiency Level in Renewable Energy & Energy Efficiency from Technische Universität Dresden. Subash also holds a Master's Degree in Sociology and Anthropology from Tribhuvan University, which they obtained between 2007 and 2009. Additionally, Subash Dhakal earned an Engineer's Degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the School of Engineering, Kathmandu University, from 2002 to 2006. Subash has also obtained certifications such as being a Life Member of the Nepal Engineers' Association and being a Certified Engineer by the Nepal Engineering Council.
