Matt Jarvis has a diverse and extensive work experience in various roles within the technology industry. Matt is currently a Developer Advisory Board member at Asana, as well as an Ambassador for the Cloud Native Computing Foundation (CNCF). Prior to this, they served as the Director of Developer Relations at Snyk and held a position as a Director, Board Member, and Vice Chair at OpenUK.

Matt Jarvis completed their education at Cardiff University / Prifysgol Caerdydd. From 1992 to 1995, they earned a Bachelor of Arts degree with honors in Applied Linguistics, Journalism & Film. Following this, from 1995 to 1997, they pursued a Professional Diploma in Independent Film Production. In addition to their educational background, they have obtained various certifications and has participated in multiple events and programs organized by The Linux Foundation, such as being a speaker and program committee member for events like KubeCon, CloudNativeCon, Kubernetes Community Days, and Open Source Summit.
