Lauren Szkudlarek-Kee

Lauren Szkudlarek-Kee is an experienced Internal Assurance Controller and Learning and Development Trainer focusing on Diversity and Inclusion at So Energy since July 2022. Lauren has also been a freelance Journalist for Medium, covering topics ranging from international conflict to lifestyle and American politics since July 2020. Previous roles include Team Member at Starbucks, where responsibilities involved customer service and team leadership, and Political Communications with the Afghanistan and Central Asian Association, advocating for the immigrant community. As an International Student Ambassador at Middle Tennessee State University, Lauren facilitated outreach and support for international students, and served as an Outreach Intern for the Tennessee Democratic Party, promoting community engagement in politics. Lauren holds a Master's degree in International Relations and Democratic Politics from the University of Westminster and a Bachelor's degree in Political Science and Government from Middle Tennessee State University, along with a certification in French Language from International Student House.
