Emily Lehmann has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Emily began their career as a Client Counselor at Camp Baker, a program run by The Greater Richmond ARC, where they worked from 1999 to 2005. Emily then transitioned to become a Teacher at Hanover County Public Schools from 2006 to 2012. At The Greater Richmond ARC, Emily held various roles including Director of Day Support Services and Assistant Vice President of Day and Respite Services from 2012 to 2023. Emily also served as a Board Member for Girls on the Run of Greater Richmond in 2022. Currently, they hold the position of Chief Program Officer at CARITAS since 2023.
Emily Lehmann completed their education at Virginia Commonwealth University. From 2002 to 2006, they earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in English Language and Literature, General. During that same period, they also pursued a Masters of Teaching with a focus on Special Education and Teaching.
