Monika Chaudhry M.D.

Monika Chaudhry MD, FAPA has a diverse work experience spanning various medical organizations. Currently, they are working as a Tele-psychiatry professional at Access TeleCare since September 2022. Monika will soon transition into the role of Regional Medical Director in October 2023.

Previously, Monika held multiple positions at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center. From August 2016 to April 2020, they served as a Faculty Consultation Liaison Psychiatrist and Assistant Professor of Psychiatry. In June 2020, they became the Medical Director of Psychiatry for Marina Del Rey Hospital, and they held this role until August 2021. Additionally, they worked as a Consultation Liaison Psychiatrist from September 2015 to July 2016.

Monika also served as the Chief of Consultation Liaison Psychiatry at Santa Clara Valley Medical Center from May 2020 to September 2022.

Before these positions, Monika gained valuable experience as a Fellow in Psychosomatic Medicine at UCLA/Olive View Medical Center from July 2015 to June 2016. Monika also served as the Chief Resident of Psychiatry at Keck Medicine of USC from July 2014 to June 2015.

Monika began their medical career as a Resident Physician at the University of Southern California from June 2011 to June 2015. Prior to that, they worked as a Medical Student at Inova Health System from July 2009 to May 2011.

Monika's earliest professional experience can be traced back to their role as a Technical Writer at Genentech from December 2006 to July 2007.

Monika Chaudhry MD, FAPA completed their education at various institutions. Monika obtained their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) with Honors in Neurobiology, Physiology, and Behavior from the University of California, Davis, from 2002 to 2006. Subsequently, they attended the Virginia Commonwealth University School of Medicine from 2007 to 2011, where they earned their MD degree in Medicine. Prior to their undergraduate studies, they attended Mission San Jose High School from 1998 to 2002. Additionally, Dr. Chaudhry holds an X-Waiver certification from the DEA, although the details of its acquisition are not provided.
