Melissa Morgan is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in community organizing, communications, and innovative consultancy. Currently serving as the Regional Organizer and Engagement & Impact Coordinator at Southern California Black Worker Hub for Regional Organizing since February 2024, Melissa advocates for economic opportunities for Black workers. As the Founder of VERB Works, a consultancy established in December 2001, and AllThingsBLACK.us, Melissa collaborates with diverse stakeholders to foster positive social impact. Previous roles include Director of Communications at Long Beach Forward, Marketing Manager at LA Conservation Corps, and Director of Partnerships at OC Human Relations, among others. Melissa holds a Bachelor's Degree in Graphic Design with a Spanish Minor from the University of North Florida and a Certificate of Completion in Cultural Studies from VEN-USA.
