Damlanur İpek

Damlanur İpek is a Compliance & Data Privacy Specialist at SOCAR Türkiye since February 2023 and serves as the President and Secretary General of the İstanbul Barosu Kişisel Verilerin Korunması Komisyonu since January 2022. Additionally, Damlanur is a Young Privacy Professional at IAPP and a Board Member at EDMER | Etik Değerler Merkezi Derneği, both roles starting in 2025 and October 2023, respectively. Damlanur contributes to the Turkish Law Blog as a Community Builder since February 2023. Previous legal experience includes positions as Legal Counsel at beIN MEDIA GROUP and Digiturk from June 2021 to February 2023, and as an Attorney At Law at Aslan Law Firm from July 2019 to June 2021. Early legal training includes internships at Gün + Partners and Aksan Law Firm in 2018 and 2019. Damlanur's education background features a Master of Laws in Information Technology Law at Istanbul Bilgi University, alongside two Bachelor of Laws degrees from the University of Zurich and Istanbul Bilgi University.
