Elchin Ibadov

Elchin Ibadov serves as the Chief Executive Officer of SOCAR Türkiye, overseeing one of Türkiye’s largest industrial conglomerates with 31 group companies across various sectors including refinery, petrochemicals, and natural gas. With extensive experience at SOCAR Türkiye, including roles as Head of Finance for the Refinery and Petrochemicals Business Unit and Deputy General Manager of STAR Refinery, Ibadov has demonstrated expertise in financial management, corporate finance, and strategic planning. Prior to joining SOCAR Türkiye, Ibadov worked as an Assurance Director at PricewaterhouseCoopers, leading a team focused on financial services in Azerbaijan and Georgia, and as a Research Associate at the World Trade Centers Association. Ibadov’s educational background includes advanced management training at Harvard Business School, the SOCAR Leadership Program at IMD, and qualifications in accounting and economics from ACCA, the University of Illinois Chicago, and Azerbaijan State University of Economics.
