Sophie Goethals

Sophia Goethals is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in program coordination and advancement roles. Currently serving as the Senior Advancement Coordinator at Soccer Without Borders since August 2020, Sophia has progressed through various positions within the organization. Prior experience includes a role as an Americorps Vista at 826 Valencia and operations staff at the University of California, Berkeley's Recreational Sports Facility. Sophia has also held positions in editorial and hospitality settings, contributing significantly as a member of the Editorial Board and Assistant Sports Editor for The Daily Californian. Sophia is currently pursuing an Advanced Certificate in Public Health at CUNY Graduate School of Public Health and Health Policy, following a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Government from the University of California, Berkeley.
