Helen Alderson is an experienced professional with a robust background in fundraising and social media moderation. Currently serving as Chief Executive Officer at Social AF since January 2020, Helen leads the UK's only agency dedicated exclusively to Social Media Moderation for the third sector. Previous roles include Fundraising Consultant at KEDA Consulting and Senior Fundraiser at St Oswald's Hospice, where Helen managed diverse fundraising efforts in Gateshead and North Durham. Earlier experience encompasses positions such as Team Leader for Face to Face Fundraising at Shelter UK, Energy Consultant at Utilitywise, and Sales Advisor at Release Potential. Helen began a career in fundraising as a Team Leader at Homefundraising. Helen holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Applied Sports Science with Coaching from Northumbria University.
