Pragyan Pani

Pragyan Pani is an experienced professional currently serving as a Portfolio and Program Manager at Social Alpha since June 2021. Previously, Pragyan worked as a Research Associate at Unseen Insight, where responsibilities included creating and implementing a market research strategy for the social startup. Pragyan's tenure at Tata Trusts spanned from August 2015 to August 2019, during which time various roles were held, including Program Officer for Skill Development and Entrepreneurship, where a significant initiative aimed at creating one million sustainable livelihoods in India by 2022 was led. Other roles at Tata Trusts involved promoting informal sector skills and securing funding for Farmer Producer Organizations. Pragyan holds a Master’s degree in Social Innovation and Entrepreneurship from The London School of Economics and Political Science, a Master’s degree in Technology and Development from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay, and a Bachelor’s degree in Biotechnology from Odisha University of Technology and Research.
