Michelle Arevalo-Carpenter

Michelle Arevalo-Carpenter serves as the Executive Director of Strategy and Content at SOCAP Global, focusing on fostering a sustainable economy through diverse international collaboration. As a co-founder and General Partner at IMPAQTO Capital, Michelle invests in early-stage impact start-ups in the Andean Region. Previous roles include Vice President of Purpose and Communities at Betterfly, CEO of IMPAQTO, Director for Latin America at NEXUS Global, and General Manager at TECHO. Significant experience in human rights was gained through leadership positions at Asylum Access, UC Berkeley Human Rights Center, and the International Accountability Project. Michelle holds advanced degrees in Public Policy from the University of California, Berkeley, and International Human Rights Law from the University of Oxford, along with a BA in Political Science from St. Thomas University.
