Social Finance
Alina Xu is an Associate Director at Social Finance, supporting the advisory services and impact investing teams. Previously, Alina worked with the Ministry of Health in eSwatini to expand access to essential services, as a member of the Clinton Health Access Initiative’s health financing team. She has also advised the Government of Rwanda on the development of nascent export-oriented industries, and supported nonprofit and corporate clients with Dalberg Advisors in Nairobi, Kenya. Earlier in her career, Alina managed randomized evaluations of entrepreneurship training programs with Innovations for Poverty Action in Uganda.
Alina holds an MPA in International Development from the Harvard Kennedy School of Government, an MBA from the MIT Sloan School of Management, and a BA in economics from University of California, Berkeley.
