Matt Latimer is currently the Associate Director at Social Finance. Matt has over three years of experience in consulting, with a focus on blockchain technology and robotic process automation (RPA).
Latimer began their career at Deloitte in August 2015 as a Consultant. Matt worked with a large pharmaceutical company to pilot blockchain technology within their Finance function with the goal of developing a use case which could be used for further opportunity identification and development of a broader business case. Matt also collaborated with multiple clients to stand up RPA initiatives, including identification of pilot automation candidates, configuration of those automations, and the development of a program business case.
In January 2018, Latimer advanced the firm’s broader service offering around RPA by leveraging project experience to document leading practices and build a series of tools, accelerators, and training materials. Matt also assisted a diversified financial services company with the purchase and integration of a loan portfolio valued at ~$8B by documenting client and associate impacts and developing plans to mitigate these impacts. Finally, they supported a large power & utilities client with the ~$1B implementation of an enterprise software program and developed the Excel model and a Tableau dashboard used to report the completion of trainings critical to Go-Live.
Matt Latimer's educational career includes completing an advanced diploma in global sustainability from James River High School and a BS in commerce, finance, and management concentrations with a minor in global sustainability from the University of Virginia.
