Rebecca Ain

Rebecca Ain serves as the ELA Department Teacher Leader and Founding ELA Teacher at Social Justice Public Charter School since July 2020, focusing on grades 5 through 7 during various academic years. Prior to this role, Rebecca worked at Rocketship Public Schools from July 2015 to June 2020, taking on positions including 4th and 5th Grade Humanities Teacher and Grade Level Lead. Rebecca's teaching career began at Hyde Leadership Charter School as a 1st Grade Teacher from August 2013 to July 2015 after being a Corps Member with Teach For America. In addition to educational roles, Rebecca held positions such as Program Coordinator and Program Assistant at Care for the Homeless, and Director of Communications and Dancer at ANAHATA Dance. Rebecca earned a Bachelor of Arts in English from Vassar College and a Master of Teaching in Elementary Education from Fordham University.
